Police Hoping for New Leads in 1989 Murder

28 years after a young girl was murdered, Troy Police are hoping for some new leads in an old case.

9-year-old May-Ling White was reported missing from an apartment complex in Troy back in July of 1989.

Four days later, her body was found in a wooded area near Phelan Court Apartments.

Her murder remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made.

Troy Police say their detectives never ended the investigation, and they are asking the two unidentified children last seen with May-Ling to come forward and talk to the police, because they could have information about the case.

The two would be in their late 30's now.
