It seems to happen just about every political season.
Someone steals the other guy's campaign signs.
But in this case, the GOP candidate for Town Supervisor in Milton is offering a $500 reward for information about the theft of signs, belonging to his opponent.
Somebody made off with some of Barbara Kerr's signs, so Scott Ostrander is putting up the reward money, saying this makes everyone look bad.
As for Kerr, she tells the Gazette "Well, isn't that nice of him?"
But, she's not all that happy.
She calls the reward political grandstanding, and says the signs were only worth about $200.
