A one-time diner in Saratoga Springs has a date with the wrecking ball next summer, to make way for a $30 million project.
The former Saratoga Springs Diner on South Broadway is set to come down this summer to make way for what is being called the “The Link at So Bro”, which is set to be a mixed use complex of affordable housing businesses and an incubator for would be entrepreneurs.
The project’s goals are to ease the city's need for workforce and veterans housing.
Outgoing Mayor Jo Anne Yepsen says this project will enable Saratoga, New York State and the private sector to fulfill a huge gap in Housing needs in Saratoga Springs..
