Support for Scotia Police Chief After Devastating Home Fire

Frisoni House

A community is coming together to support its police chief and his family.

Scotia's Pete Frisoni, once a spokesman for the Schenectady Police Department, is trying to salvage what he can from his Redwood Drive home, destroyed by fire this past Friday.

Sgt. Dan Harrigan says he and other members of the Scotia Police Department want the chief to know they're there for him.

People were stopping by the office and the chief's house to drop off donations of food and clothing.

A couple of Go Fund Me accounts are up and running for the chief, his wife, and 5 children.
