Three members of the Galway Police Department and one from the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office have been arrested on charges of falsifying records.
The four include the department's 72 year old chief, Leslie Klein.
The State Attorney General's office says the officers are facing charges of systematically falsifying records that documented state mandated training courses.
According to the AG's office, the officers claimed to have completed supervised field training, but that didn't happen.
Galway Mayor William Hyde says despite the charges, he's still proud of his officers.
All four pleaded not guilty at their arraignment.
