Contributions to Cuomo From Health Care Company Questioned

Crystal Run Health Care

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan is said to be investigating a health care company that has made some big contributions to Gov. Cuomo.

According to the Times-Union Crystal Run Health Care has received more than $25 million in state grants after a series of campaign contributions to the governor.

A report in the paper says Crystal Run, its executives, spouses, and doctors have given at least $400,000, with most of that in a batch of 10 donations of $25,000 apiece in October of 2013.

The State awarded the company the money for two facilities in the Hudson Valley, despite the fact that construction was already underway on both.
