There were not many voters, but those who did come out, approved school budgets across the area.
Unofficial results show budgets for districts in Albany, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, Troy, Niskayuna, and Shenendehowa among the many that won approval.
Voters were asked to weigh in on school board candidates, bus purchases, and library issues.
For the most part, tax levies going up, 1.3% in Albany, 2.9% in the Shen district and 1.5 % in Troy.
Schenectady homeowners get a break, with a 1% decrease.
One district where voters said no was Johnstown, the only district in the region asking voters to exceed the tax cap.
