Union Grad Returns To Talk Experiences During Vegas Shooting

John Fildes

A Union College graduate from 1977 spoke to a group of students on campus, recalling his experiences at the shooting on the Las Vegas Strip last October.

Dr. John Fildes was in the Emergency Room of the Las Vegas University Medical Center following the shooting that left 58 people dead and more than 550 others injured.

That day UMC treated 104 people, 12 in critical condition.

Fildes has been traveling to hospitals around the country in hopes of potentially saving more lives.
