Town of Galway Supervisor Dead after Agriculture Accident

State Police responded to an agricultural accident in the Town of Galway.

One man has died, and State Police say the man is the Town of Galway Supervisor Paul Lent.

State Police say Lent was conducting agricultural work on his property, when his tractor overturned and pinned him, causing his death.

Paul Lent, and his wife, operate Misty Hill Farm.

He was elected Town Supervisor in 2013, after serving for two decades as the Saratoga County Emergency Services Director.

Lent was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Saratoga County Agricultural Society, which operates the county fair, and a Superintendent of its Open Draft Horse show.
