4 New Indictments in the NXIVM Case, Including Seagram's Heiress

More indictments have been unsealed in the case against NXIVM, a marketing company that was based in Albany, that some have called a cult. 

Now indicted is NXIVM'S President Nancy Salzman and her daughter Lauren, and Clare Bronfman, the organization's Operations Director and the heiress to the Seagram's Liquor Empire. Also indicted is the longtime Bookkeeper for the group, Kathy Russell. Among the charges they face, identity theft, extortion and Money Laundering.  

Earlier this year NXIVM Founder Keith Raniere, and Smallville actress Alison Mack, were indicted on charges that included sex trafficking and forced labor. Several months ago, NXIVM Announced that it was suspending operations in the wake of the indictments.
