Saratoga Springs City Hall Still Closed After Lightning Hit

There‚Äôs an update on the situation at Saratoga Springs City Hall. 

Mayor Meg Kelly says the building will remain closed until further notice after a lightning bolt hit last Friday night, sparking a small fire.

Crews are still cleaning and drying the building, which sustained significant water damage. 

The air quality is being tested, and damage and repair assessments are taking place.

Most city operations up and running at the Recreation Center on Vanderbilt Avenue.

The Police Department will continue operations at its Lake Avenue headquarters,

City employees are asked to check with their department heads to determine if they're needed.
