No Agreement Signed Yet Between the Valley Cats & the Astros

On the eve of their final regular season home game, the Tri-City ValleyCats have yet to cut a new deal to continue their 17 year affiliation with the Houston Astros.

According to the Times Union, ValleyCats CEO Rick Murphy is promising an announcement within the next week, whether it's to sign a new player development contract with the Astros or seek another major league team.

The Astros are the only parent club the ValleyCats have had since they moved to Troy from Pittsfield in 2002
