Albany residents came together Tuesday night to support a 19-year-old Binghamton man, paralyzed from the waist down after he was shot by police officers last month.
Ellazar Williams' brother, Nick Grimm, was at the rally at Malcolm X Community Park, and says his brother is in good spirits and hopes to walk again one day.
However, Grimm, like others at the "Justice or Else" rally, want answers.
Common Councilman Derek Johnson says the message is clear, the community wants to know what happened and why.
Police say Williams and two other men were involved in a confrontation at a convenience store on Central Avenue, and there was a report that one of them had a gun.
Williams was shot when he ran away near the Tony Clement Center for Education.
Police say their investigation into the shooting is nearly finished, and they'll release details when it's done.
