Montgomery County Woman Charged With Throwing Puppy Out a Window

Abused Dog

There is a disturbing story of animal abuse in Canajoharie.

Authorities say a seven month old puppy was thrown from a second story window, and an eyewitness to the incident is speaking out.

Elizabeth Snyder says she and her husband were driving home after dinner on Wednesday, when something caught her eye.

She adds she got out of the car to rescue "Wrinkles," and was immediately confronted by Joanne Hoose, who told her the dog fell down.

Hoose is being charged with felony animal abuse.

"Wrinkles," has a number of broken bones and will undergo surgery Friday.

The Montgomery County SPCA is taking donations to help with Wrinkles' recovery.
