There are reports that DOT has been ordered to do an emergency study of the Schoharie intersection where a limo crashed last weekend, killing 20 people.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash itself, but that report isn't due for a while yet.
Meanwhile, DOT says it has been reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash in support of the on-going investigations, and they continue to support those efforts.
The operator of Prestige Limo and son of the company's owner are facing one count of criminally negligent homicide.
Meanwhile plans are in the works for a permanent memorial to be set up to honor the victims of the crash.
The Reflections Memorial Fund is collecting money to make those plans a reality, asking people to make donations through any Bank of Richmondville branch to help gather the necessary money.
There's also a fundraising concert being planned for November.
The hope is to have the memorial in place by the one year anniversary of the tragedy.
