An unidentified student will face discipline for last Monday's threat that sent Niskayuna High School into lockdown for more than five hours.
The school district isn't identifying the student, or saying how he or she will be disciplined, and Niskayuna police are still conducting a criminal investigation.
A threatening note was found at the high school Monday afternoon around 1.
Police searched the building for hours, leaving students in classrooms, and unable to use bathrooms, until the all-clear was given at 6:30.
Many parents were upset about the situation.
School officials are promising another look about safety protocols and procedures.
