Personal Injury Lawsuit Filed After Schoharie Limo Crash

Schoharie Limo

The first personal injury lawsuit has been filed in connection with the Schoharie limo crash on October 7th that killed 20 people.

The parents of Amanda Rivenburg have filed suit against Shahed Hussian, the owner of Prestige Limousine, and his son Nauman, currently charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Attorney Sal Ferlazzo says his clients plan to sue New York State.

He says there are two issues at work with that.

The first, he says, is the 2001 Ford Excursion limo failing two inspections this year

Ferlazzo is also mentioning the section of Route 30 approaching 30A.

Improvements were made by the state in 2008, but Ferlazzo says they actually made things worse.
