Voters in Halfmoon and Waterford will decide Tuesday night if plans to build a new fire station will move forward.

The Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District is looking to build a new 25,000-square-foot facility on Middletown Road, with a price tag expected to be over $12 million.

If approved, Halfmoon residents in the fire district would pay an extra $126 a year, and people in Waterford an extra $72.

Tuesday night's vote goes from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Middletown Road station.
