A $100 million dollar lawsuit has been filed against the Hampton Inn and Suites hotel chain over an incident that allegedly occurred in Albany.

A woman from Chicago who was in town for the bar exam says she was secretly recorded in her hotel shower in 2015.

She tells says she didn't become aware of it until a self-described "perv" demanded money and began circulating the video to colleagues in September of this year.

Her lawyer, Roland Christiansen, says they think there are other victims.

Hampton Inn says it found no hidden camera during a recent renovation, but that it will cooperate with the investigation.

In a statement, Hampton says it takes the safety and well-being of guests very seriously, and finds the details of the filing "distressing."
