NY AG Sues Target, Walmart & LaRose Industries Over Lead Based Toys

State Attorney General Barbara Underwood is suing Target, Walmart and LaRose Industries over sales of lead-tainted children's toys.

Underwood says lab testing found that "Cra-Z-Jewelz" jewelry-making kits contained lead levels up to ten times higher than the federal limit.

The contaminated products were imported from China, and then sold by Target and Walmart between 2015 and 2016.

The kits were already the focus of a nationwide recall.
