The Troy City Council will meet for the first time of the year, and the first time since their President was arrested for DWI.
On the day after Christmas, Troy City Council President Carmella Mantello was arrested for DWI after a "terrified driver" called 911 after he was being followed extremely close by an aggressive driver.
Mantello was reportedly uncooperative at the time of her arrest.
In a statement, Anahsha Cummings, who serves on the council, says the meeting of the whole council will take place Thursday night at 7, which is the same time as Mantello's court hearing.
If Mantello is unable to attend Cummings will be chairing the meeting.
He went on to say that they will discuss the issue but no action will be taken until the judicial process is complete.
