Troy Man Gets Prison Time for His Role in Cohoes Home Invasion

A Troy man whose brother was shot and killed during a home invasion in Cohoes has been sentenced to five years in prison.

31-year-old Andy Sousie fled the scene, and was caught a month later in Tennessee.

Sousie pleaded guilty to one count of attempted burglary.

He will serve his sentence in State Prison.

Daryl Sousie was killed by the man who lived in the apartment,

Shawn Rogowski fired a shotgun at Daryl Sousie who was hit in the stomach.

He later died at Samaritan Hospital.

Prosecutors ruled that Rogowski was justified in shooting Daryl Sousie.

Rogowski pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
