Senator Gillibrand Announces Run for the White House on Colbert

 

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is taking a step towards running for the White House.  She announced yesterday on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" she's forming a presidential exploratory committee. 

She highlighted a commitment to improve the nation's educational system, and said she's going to fight for America's kids as hard as she'd fight for her own.  Gillibrand stated her belief that healthcare should be a right, not a privilege.  Gillibrand added that she has the compassion, courage, and fearless determination to tackle America's problems.  Gillibrand has been a senator since 2009.
