Not Guilty Plea From Albany Teen Charged With Skateboard Attack

Zamari Coffin

There was a court appearance for an Albany teen accused of slamming a skateboard into the skull of an Assistant Albany County DA earlier this month.

Zamari Coffin entered a not guilty plea to robbery and assault charges.

Police say ADA Vincent Stark needed emergency surgery to have a portion of his skull removed.

He had a fractured eye socket and cheekbone.

He's experiencing a loss of hearing and has a serious brain injury.

Coffin was sent to the Albany County Jail without bail.

Two others were involved in the attack.

No other arrests at this point.
