License Pulled From Troy's River Street Pub

The State Liquor Authority has suspended the license at the River Street Pub in Troy.

The suspension, which takes effect immediately, comes after a shooting earlier this month at the bar that injured Maurice Magee of Glens Falls.

Authority officials are also seeking a permanent revocation of the bar's liquor license, claiming the owner of the bar, Vincenzo Pellicano, didn't report the incident, then denied the shooting took place inside the bar

The Liquor Authority says responding police officers found indications that someone may have tried to destroy evidence of a crime.

They accuse Pellicano of deliberately attempted to conceal evidence.
