Capital City Rescue Mission Chef Hearing Resumes on the 25th

A chef at the Capital City Rescue Mission will remain in federal custody for the time being.

Written arguments in the case of Kinimo Ngoran are due on the 25th, after a hearing before a federal judge in Rochester was adjourned Monday.

The judge issued a restraining order last week, putting a stop, for now, on efforts to deport him back to his native Ivory Coast.

The question now is whether or not he should be granted a more permanent stay in the United States.

Until the 25th, Ngoran will stay in custody outside Buffalo.
