Shoveling and Scraping Away After the Latest Winter Storm Hits

Another day of slippery highways and school delays, after a storm that dumped about four to five inches of snow on the region, then capped it off with some sleet and freezing rain.

Snow emergencies were put in effect in several communities, including Rotterdam, Amsterdam, East Greenbush, Saratoga Springs, and Glens Falls, among others

Albany's General Services Commissioner, Sergio Panunzio says crews are working 12 hour shifts to clean up 750 miles of roads.

At the airport, most early morning departures were cancelled.Most arrivals appear to be on time.

16 departures were cancelled Tuesday, and another 13 delayed.

There is no snow emergency in the city of Albany, and Panunzio says they don't expect to declare one.
