Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is officially running for the White House.
The Democrat announced her intention in a video released Sunday morning.
Gillibrand formed an exploratory committee in January and has been traveling to get out in front of crowds early voting states.
Her video cites her vote against Wall Street bailouts, her ability to turn a red congressional district to Democrat control, and the need to make brave, bold choices in Washington.
Her first major official campaign speech is set for March 24th in front of Trump International in New York City.
This week, she'll travel to Michigan, Iowa and Nevada.
