A new Quinnipiac University poll shows New Yorkers choose former Vice President Joe Biden as the top Democratic contender for the 2020 presidential race, even though he's not even officially IN the race.
Biden holds a 62% favorability rating, a number similar to polls in Texas and Florida.
On the opposite end, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has the worse score among any Democrat in the survey, with NYC voters giving him a negative 36% favorability.
As for other Democrats in the survey, Senator Bernie Sanders has favorability rating of 51%, 21% for Representative Beto O'Rourke and 27% for Senator Kamala Harris. Among New Yorkers, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has a 29% negative rating, negative 31% for Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and a 45 % unfavorable rating for Governor Cuomo.
