NXIVM Defendant Admits Holding a Woman Against Her Will

Some details surrounding the guilty plea of one of the NXIVM defendants are coming out.

Lauren Salzman admits taking part in holding a young Mexican woman against her will in a townhouse in Halfmoon.

She's also said she recruited women into a secret "slave-master" club headed by founder Keith Rainere, and threatened to release damaging information if the women didn't perform so called "tasks" or tried to leave the group.

Salzman said during the plea hearing she believed she was helping people live their best lives, and blindly followed the group's teachings.

Raniere and several other leaders of the group go on trial later this month.
