Goldstock's Sporting Goods, Founded in 1896, Holding a Liquidation Sale

A popular sporting goods store in Glenville isn't going to re-open.

Goldstock's Sporting Goods on Freemans Bridge Rd. in Glenville closed its doors last August without explanation.

At the time, town officials said store's owners hoped to re-open.

But reports now indicate it will indeed be closing permanently.

Goldstock's will hold a liquidation sale starting Saturday.

After they sell inventory, the building will be sold.

Hours for the sale are 10 to 6 daily until the 14th.

Goldstock's was founded in Schenectady in 1896.
