State Health Department Warns of Lyme Disease-Carrying Ticks

The New York State Department of Health is warning residents that we could see a lot of Lyme Disease-carrying ticks this season.

Symptoms of Lyme Disease include a bulls-eye mark, rash, and flu-like symptoms.

While antibiotics treat most cases, Holistic Healing practitioner Joe Gulyas says some patients have long-lasting effects.

Gulyas says fatigue is a very general symptom, and yet, it is symptom number one when it comes to Lyme Disease.

The Adirondack Council is calling for a policy to become law.
