Delay Granted in Troy Quadruple Homicide Trial

The trial date for one of the men connected to a quadruple homicide in Troy has been pushed back to September.

Rensselaer County DA's office says attorneys for James White asked that his trial date be delayed, citing a lack of time to look over evidence in the case.

The judge agreed, and set a trial date for September 9th.

The other man charged in the 2017 murders of Brandi Mells, Shanta Myers, and Myers' two children, Justin Mann, entered a guilty plea to murder charges, and agreed to testify against White.

Mann is serving four sentences of 25 to life concurrently.
