Two Selkirk residents have been arrested on animal cruelty charges.
Bethlehem Police say they began an investigation in April when a semi-conscious dog was found in a plastic bag.
The dog was found to be severely malnourished and lacked any veterinary care.
It later died at a veterinary clinic.
Desirae Fantroy and Ta- Von McCall have been charged.
Both are due back in court next week.
