Vote Allows Release of President Trump's State Tax Returns

The State Assembly has now approved legislation that would allow President Trump's New York state tax returns to be released to Democrats in Congress, and three congressional committees, as long as there is a "legitimate legislative purpose."

Assemblyman John McDonald broke ranks with his party and voted no.

He says it's time to move on.

Western New York Republican Andy Goodell thinks the legislature is overstepping its boundaries here.

The bill now goes to Gov. Cuomo's desk, and he is expected to sign it.
