Gov. Cuomo, taking advantage of a "Celebrate Israel" parade in New York City over the weekend, says he's planning a trip to Israel after the legislative session concludes in a couple of weeks, and he's inviting Jewish lawmakers to come along.
The governor says the "blunt truth" is there's been a big increase in the number of anti-Semitic attacks across the country, and in New York State.
He calls it a "cancer of the American body politic."
Cuomo says he takes these Anti-Semitic attacks personally, and says they're not just wrong and immoral, they're illegal.
He's been to Israel before, including a trip during his 2014 re-election campaign, but called off a trip last summer because of violence in the Gaza Strip.
