Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is ending her presidential campaign. Gillibrand failed to gain traction in the crowded field of Democratic candidates, falling short of the criteria to qualify for the third Democratic presidential debate.Â
The New York Democrat said in a video that this wasn't the result she hoped for, adding that it's important to "know when it's not your time."Â She said she believes that she can now best serve by helping to unite people against President Trump in 2020.Â
