Monday Night Vote on Term Limits for Albany County County Legislators

The Albany County Legislature is set to vote Monday night on a plan that would set term limits for its members, for the County Executive, and for the County Comptroller.

Under the legislation, officials would be limited to 12 years in office, or three four-year terms.

Sponsor Todd Drake, a Latham Republican, says what motivated him to get involved was watching what he calls the "same old-same old" go by every day.
