New Law Guarantees Future Students in New York State Will Never Forget 9/11

A new law in New York commemorates September 11th.

New York's new law goes into effect immediately and establishes September 11 Remembrance Day and calls for a brief moment of silence in public schools at the beginning of the day every September 11th.

Lawmakers say the new law will ensure the significance of September 11th will not be forgotten by future generations.

Most, almost all current high school seniors, were born after the attacks.
