Proposal to Ban Flavored Tobacco Products in Albany County Advances

Albany County lawmakers are continuing to move forward with a controversial proposal to ban flavored tobacco products.

After being tabled this summer, lawmakers approved a public hearing on September 24th after Legislator Paul Miller says some changes were made to the original measure.

Those against the bill have said it would have a huge impact on convenience stores and vape shops.

It could come before the full legislature for a vote sometime in November.
