A Duanesburg woman has been charged with animal neglect in connection with the rescue of more than a dozen dogs in Montgomery County.

A total of 14 Shih-Tzus, nine of them puppies, were taken out of deplorable living conditions in the town of Florida.

State police arrested Elizabeth Dolder after she turned herself in Thursday.

Police say the dogs' owners weren't even living on the property.

Meanwhile, Montgomery County SPCA wants to know if anyone wants to adopt the dogs.

If you're interested, they ask you submit an application online.

As for Dolder, she's due in court at a later date.
