There was a court appearance for the Cohoes man charged with manslaughter in connection with his 6-week-old son's death.
A preliminary hearing was held in the Anthony Ojeda case.
Prosecutors say the 38-year-old didn't get Eli Ojeda-Harmon help after the boy ingested methamphetamine at his apartment last week.
Ojeda is also facing an assault charge for allegedly breaking Eli's ribs in November.
Judge Thomas Marcelle has also decided that the case against Ojeda will move forward saying that there is enough evidence to hold Ojeda over for Grand Jury proceedings.
The child was under the supervision of Rensselaer County Child Protective Services at the time of his death.
