Albany Police Investigating Two Thursday Night Shootings

Albany police are investigating two shootings that occurred Thursday night.

Police say the first happened around 8:30 in the area of Bonheim Street and Broadway.

A 24-year-old man was hit in the shoulder and was able to walk to Albany Memorial Hospital.

Police said his injury is not life-threatening.

The second shooting happened at First Street and Lexington Avenue.

That call came in around 10:35, and they found a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

He was transported to Albany Med.

No word on his condition.

No suspects in custody.
