Snow to Begin Impacting the Capital Region Saturday

It looks like the weekend will be a snowy one. The WGY-Accuweather forecast is calling for the flakes to begin falling Saturday afternoon between 1-4pm and continue into the evening.

In the immediate Capital Region we could see between 3 to 6 inches of snow, but some spots to our north could find themselves with as much as 8 inches. Sleet is possible to the south of Albany. Forecasters say the snow could linger into Sunday, which would bring us some additional light accumulations.
