Reports this morning indicate the "suspicious item" found near the downtown UAlbany campus on Tuesday was nothing more than a can of soup. Several law enforcement agencies responded after a silver canister was found in the bushes at University Plaza. State police say they will dispose of the item. No word on if it was tomato, chicken noodle or split pea.
