An 11 year old boy has died after falling into a ravine during a hike in Greene County. The Sheriff says a boy was with a group of hikers on a very icy part of the Indian Head Wilderness Area near Hunter. Several response teams arrived on the scene just after 3 o'clock and needed to rappel down approximately 300 feet to the boy. As of late last night, teams were not able to recover the boy from the scene. They plan to return this morning.
