National Guard To Assist in Westchester County Coronavirus Clean-Up

New York State officials are intensifying efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus at a hot spot in Westchester County. Governor Cuomo says schools, temples and other buildings with large gatherings will close within a section of New Rochelle for a two week period starting March 12th.

There's no restrictions to people moving about, but the governor says the National Guard will be brought in to assist with cleaning of large buildings and to deliver food to homes for those who need it.

The number of coronavirus cases in New York State is now up to 173 as of Tuesday afternoon.
