Price Chopper/Market 32 Modifies Hours, Seniors Get Exclusive Hour to Shop

NEWS RELEASE FROM PRICE CHOPPER/MARKET 32:

In a continuing effort to respond to unprecedented circumstances and better serve all customers and communities, Price Chopper/Market 32 will make additional temporary adjustments to store hours. Effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020, ALL Price Chopper, Market 32 and Market Bistro stores will close at 10:00 p.m. and reopen at 7:00 a.m. to facilitate the restocking of product and to perform additional preventative sanitation.

Additionally, in an effort to extend a more protected level of service to members of our communities who are most vulnerable to Coronavirus, ALL stores will pre-open exclusively to seniors from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. each and every day, beginning on Thursday, March 19. Given the uneven flow of product, all refund, return and raincheck policies have been temporarily suspended.

“We recognize the importance of our role as a provider of vital goods and services and will continue to adjust our business in response to the (most urgent,) expressed and developing needs of our communities,” said Scott Grimmett, the chain’s president and CEO. “Our focus on sanitation and supply chain flow places priority on the customer experience, helping us to reassure customers that the food supply is not in jeopardy.”
