Albany Co. Executive Wants to Cut Red Tape for Small Business Loans

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says he's working with Governor Cuomo to cut red tape and enable County Industrial Development Agencies (IDA’s) to make direct loans to businesses, at a time when countless individuals have been economically impacted since the outbreak of COVID-19.

With over 25,000 applications submitted to the Small Business Administration, business owners are concerned about how long it could talk to see some actual relief.

The County Executive is also looking at other ways to assist the business community. He encourages local businesses looking for immediate help to seek loans through the Small Business Administration website. To apply, CLICK HERE.
