New York State health officials are investigating after video surfaced showing huge crowds at a concert in the Hamptons on Long Island. There were roughly 2,000 people at a charity concert the Chainsmokers played at in Southampton over the weekend.
The video appears to show not too much social distancing and many not wearing face coverings. The state's health commissioner wrote a letter to the community demanding details of the event and questioning why Southampton issued a permit for it.
Governor Cuomo tweeted about it Monday.
